Captain
Experience: Ole Melin brings nearly 50 years of seagoing experience to our crew. For the past 20 years, he has served as Captain, primarily on smaller passenger vessels. Prior to this, he spent many years as Chief Officer on large passenger ships. In total, Ole has dedicated more than 35 years to passenger shipping, combining deep operational knowledge with steady leadership and a strong focus on guest safety and comfort.

Johnny Dyreholt Holm

Captain
Experience: Johnny Holm brings a rare mix of deep hands-on seamanship and commercial shipping leadership. He has 30+ years of sailing yacht experience, complemented by 8 years in the merchant navy. Trained as a dual officer and Yachtmaster 1st Class, Johnny is known for structured passage planning, sound decision-making around weather windows, and clear communication from departure to handover.

Ronni Aaen
Engine Room Technician
Experience: Ronni Aaen is a trained mechanic with a strong technical background. Before going to sea, he worked for three years as a mechanic, gaining solid hands-on experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. He later served three years in the Danish Royal Navy as an engine room rating, bringing discipline, reliability, and technical precision to every operation.

Kris Jørgensen
Able Seaman
Experience: Kris Jørgensen is a qualified metalworker specializing in aluminum and holds a trade certificate as a ship’s assistant. He brings solid hands-on seagoing experience from bulk carriers, container ships, and tugboats, giving him a versatile skill set and strong technical support role on board.

Mikkel Thuesen

CEO & 1st Mate

Experience: Mikkel Thuesen is educated at MARTEC in Skagen, Denmark, and brings solid maritime experience from both towing vessels and ferries. He has worked two years as an Ordinary Seaman and has since served one year as Chief Officer on towing boats. Known for his professional approach on the bridge, Mikkel has a strong focus on smooth, safe navigation and operational precision.
